On Monday, the children of Swallowtail Federation joined together at How Hill for a day in nature.
The children spent the day on various activities, learning about wildlife and how it is important to make sure that nature is looked after. They had fun dyke dipping and found a variety of creatures.
On their nature walk they got to see wetland forest and one of the Norfolk Broads.
In the afternoon, the children made art from anything they found in the forest.
A great day was had by all.

Autumn days and green men
On a warm October Wednesday, KS2 went on a nature walk to locate as many leaves, twigs and acorns to create a piece of artwork based on the mythical figure of the Green Man.
The children enjoyed hunting for different coloured leaves that had fallen to the ground. We explored a local woodland to find a range of materials.
I hope you enjoy the artwork as much as the children did making them.
